I've not had a bad meal here. The mofongo was fresh, the masitas de cerdo were crispy & fresh as well as the accompanying caldito. So good. The waitresses are so friendly, sweet, and very attentive to your needs.

Every dish we’ve tried tastes homemade, full of authentic Dominican flavor and served in generous portions. The staff is always welcoming and happy, and the service feels genuine — you can tell they take pride in what they do. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, from the pernil and rice to the beans and salad. Everything tastes like it’s cooked with care. If you’re looking for delicious Dominican comfort food and friendly service in a casual, family-style atmosphere, this spot is 100% worth visiting. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best places for buying Spanish food! I drive 20 minutes out of the way to buy our food from here. Food is always fresh because they have a high turnaround. Prices are responsible. I've ordered food for catering and everyone always love their food.

The food is great and the portion is decently large. I had the rice with guandules and pernil.

I’m writing this review because this restaurant has significantly improved its customer service, though the food’s flavor could still use some work. About eight years ago, I was introduced to this place, which quickly became my go-to spot on Long Island for Dominican food. Back then, the taste was exceptional, the portion sizes were generous enough to feed a family for days, and the homemade drinks were delightful. However, over the years, I’ve noticed the food has become overly salty at times, with some dishes lacking flavor entirely. In the past, I occasionally experienced poor service and felt judged for my darker skin tone, depending on who served me, but thankfully, the service has improved in recent times. I highly recommend the beef stew and macaroni salad—both are absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for great value, this place delivers portions that exceed expectations in the best way! Overall, I would recommend giving it a try.

I’ve known about this restaurant for some years now, I’ve heard good things about it and I’ve been real busy to take time to go but today was the day and it was great! The food, the service and the place as a whole was really nice. Family portion for sure! The drinks are yummy and the food very fresh. First time I see a restaurant have a deli/restaurant view without it looking very out of place. They did a good job. I recommend to take some time and eat here.
